Walking in the Power of the Holy Spirit Articles:

There are many good books written on the subject of the power of the Holy Spirit.  It is not the intention of the articles on this site to educate or re-educate the reader as to the “how to” ways of walking in Father’s power, but rather to give personal testimony and encourage all of us to seek Father’s complete will for our lives now.  We strongly believe that the end times restoration frequently spoken of in scripture not only includes returning to the Torah of Moses and the Ten commandments, but humbling our hearts, changing our walk in this chaotic world and seeking Father’s power to enable us to be more useful in His hands.  It is time to fan the flame of His spirit within us.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit

In the early 1970’s shortly after we were married, Diane and I experienced the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.  Needless to say our lives radically changed.

Speaking in tongues

There are many who say that tongues was for the early church but no longer applies today.  If we deny the truth in scripture does that make it go away so we don’t have to take responsibility.  Has Father changed His mind about how to walk in the power of His Spirit?

Prayer and Obedience

As a logical Systems Analyst I will admit right up front that I do not understand logically how prayer works or how it can hold so much power. I do know, however, what scripture says and I believe scripture is true.

The gifts of the Spirit

1Co 12:7  But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

1Co 12:8  For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit;

At this time in my life, this is a very difficult subject for me to address. My daughter, age 42, just passed away 6 months ago with stage 4 breast cancer. We stood with her and her family in faith against this attack for almost three years.

This scripture brings to light the fact that the spiritual world is real and all around us every day. We tend to think that life is all about the material world around us and we spend all our time trying to make our lives more comfortable materially.
